Abstract:
A method for realizing track location service in mobile communication system.
The track location service can be realized easily and responded quickly by using
the method. First, the core network (CN) transmits location request message
to radio network controller (RNC) for requesting track location service for
one user. The RNC identifies the request which is a request of track location service
and transmits location measure control message to user device. The user device
determines the period of track location according to the appointed location
type. The user device performs once location process every other period and reports
the result to the RNC. After the RNC has obtained the location information of the
user device, the RNC reports the location result to the CN. The present invention
can expediently realize process track period service in the present location
service process flow, and enable the respond time of location of track service
to be fast.
