Abstract:
A method for storage management of media content on an electronic device, an electronic device, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are provided. The method includes the following. Receive a request for performing a storage action associated with a media content on the electronic device. Determine a category of the media content based on a content type and an access history of the media content. Determine a storage location for the media content based on a location preference associated with the electronic device and the determined category of the media content. Determine a health of the storage location. Further, perform the storage action associated with the media content on the electronic device based on the determined health.
