Abstract:
An organic EL display panel comprises a substrate and a partition layer. The partition layer is provided on the substrate and defines a first subpixel region and a second subpixel region having an elongate face shape and whose light-emission colours are different. Also, the partition layer is provided with a plurality of recesses. When a virtual line J is drawn in the short axis direction (X direction) from the centre of the first subpixel region in the long axis direction (Y direction), of the two intersection points of this virtual line J and the edge of the first subpixel region, one of these intersection points is defined as a reference point. The minimum distance of this reference point and the aperture edge of the recess that is positioned closest to the reference point is then shorter than the minimum distance of the reference point and the edge of the second subpixel region that is positioned closest to the reference point.
