Abstract:
The photoelectric conversion element according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a first electrode; a second electrode arranged facing the first electrode; a first photoelectric conversion layer that is provided between the first electrode and the second electrode, and that includes a first dye material and a first carrier transport material; a second photoelectric conversion layer that is layered at the second-electrode side of the first photoelectric conversion layer between the first electrode and the second electrode, and that includes a second dye material having a light absorption waveform different from that of the first dye material, and a second carrier transport material; a first buffer layer having a first electroconductivity type, the first buffer layer being provided between the first electrode and the first photoelectric conversion layer; and a second buffer layer having a second electroconductivity type different from the first electroconductivity type, the second buffer layer being provided between the second electrode and the second photoelectric conversion layer.
