Abstract:
Provided are a shutter device that has functions of both a shutter device for video blocking and a shutter device for aperture, that is space saving, and that is low in costs, and a drive method. The shutter device has, in an illumination case, a first light shielding plate (212) and a second light shielding plate (215), and also has a first cam-equipped gear (224) having a cam groove (225) for driving the first light shielding plate (212), a second cam-equipped gear (227) having a cam groove (228) for driving the second light shielding plate (215). The cams are shaped so that the first shielding plate (212) and the second shielding plate (215) are driven independently from each other by rotation of a DC motor (235) that is the single drive source. The functions of both the shutter device for video blocking and the shutter device for aperture can be arbitrarily operated by the DC motor (235) that is the single common drive source.
