Abstract:
To provide an image capturing lens which satisfies requirements of a wide angle, low height, and low F-number, and yet offers good optical characteristics.SOLUTION: An image capturing lens is provided, comprising, in order from the object side to the image side, a first lens having an object-side surface that is convex near an optical axis and positive refractive power, a second lens, a third lens, a fourth lens, a fifth lens, a sixth lens, and a seventh lens having an image-side surface that is concave near the optical axis and negative refractive power. The image-side surface of the seventh lens has an aspherical shape having an extremum point at a position off the optical axis. The second lens has positive refractive power near the optical axis. The sixth lens has aspherical surfaces that are flat near the optical axis on both sides thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
