Abstract:
To generate efficiently generate high-quality composite video with little visual discomfort.SOLUTION: A composite video generating unit arranges a virtual camera in a three-dimensional virtual space based on a position and an orientation of a moving body on a water surface, and arranges at least a part of additional display information in the three-dimensional virtual space as a three-dimensional virtual reality object and at same time a virtual projection screen is arranged, and creates a mesh that divides the projection screen, and the mesh that is distorted in the direction opposite to a lens distortion that occurs in the image captured by the moving body on the water, and converts the vertices of the virtual reality object and the vertices of the mesh into positions on a two-dimensional virtual screen which is a perspective projection plane by the vertex shader, based on the position and orientation of the virtual camera, and generates a composite image in which a figure in which the virtual reality object is drawn is combined with the captured image, by arranging the image pieces obtained by dividing the captured image on the corresponding mesh by a pixel shader, based on the positions of the respective converted vertices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
