Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the pillar which can be used as a structural material of high impact strength, low sink deformation and low warpage deformation by allowing inorganic filaments equal length to the pillar and arranged in parallel with the lengthwise direction and a filler of a specific aspect ratio to distribute in the matrix of a crystalline resin. CONSTITUTION:A crystalline thermoplastic resin is quantitatively fed from the first inlet 2 of the extruder 1, leaflet filler of more than 10 aspect ratio such as mica, from the second inlet 3 in an amount of 5 to 15wt.% based on the composite, then they are molten and kneaded, as they are sucked from bent 5, then continuously sent in the impregnation dice 9 at the down-stream end of the extrusion barrel 5. In the meantime, inorganic filaments such as glass fibers are fed from the tank 7 in an amount of 20 to 60wt.% based on the composite, impregnated with molten resin, passed through the cooling water bath 10 and cut by the cutter 11 to obtain the objective crystalline thermoplastic resin pillars which contain inorganic filaments which are arranged in parallel with the pillar direction in the same length as that of the pillars.
