PURPOSE: To efficiently store and pack powder by using only one pressure hopper by a method in which a hopper is mounted on a frame through a load cell connected with a measuring device and the reduced amount and integrated amount of the powder in the hopper are displayed and recorded.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure hopper 8 is mounted through a load cell 24 on a frame 23, and a controller 21 with a measuring drive (not illustrated) is connected to the load cell 24. The reduced amount and discharged integrated amount of a powder in the pressure hopper 8 during the discharge period are displayed through the load cell 24 and the measuring device on the digital displayers 27 and 29 of the controller 21, and when the cement in the pressure hopper 8 reaches an allowable amount, an alarm buzzer 32 and an alarm lamp 33 are operated. Thus, the storage and packing of the powder can be conducted at optimum timing even by using only one pressure hopper and efficient and continuous operation is thus made possible.
