To provide an improved technique for forming a laser ablation transfer image on an intermediate receptor element affording selectivity to versatility and flexibility that is not known in usual LAT image forming techniques.
The technique provides a method of integrating a contrast pattern of information borne by a backing with final receptor base elements. The method comprises a process wherein an LAT image forming film is irradiated with laser for forming an image, with an intensity sufficient enough to bring about transfer of a laser irradiated ablation substance of the image forming film onto the intermediate receptor element, in the volume of the region of the ablation substance exposed for forming the image, in accordance with the pattern of the information (a), and a process wherein the intermediate receptor having the image formed in this way is the laminated, on the image side, on any of preferable final receptor base elements (b).
