To provide an annealing facility of an out-of-furnace return type capable of preventing occurrence of check caused by a difference in temperature between a product transferring means and the product, reducing a breakage of the product, improving a production efficiency and further improving quality of the product.
There is provided an annealing facility of an out-of-furnace return type in which a heating means 4 for heating a product transferring means 2 up to a value near a product loading temperature over an entire width direction of the product transferring means 2 is installed just before a product loading segment 1a of an annealing furnace 1. The heating means 4 is a line burner of far-infrared ray radiation type and this is installed across a transferring passage of the product transferring means 2.
