To provide an antenna device which has a broader bandwidth and low profile, is made compact and is hardly affected by metal.
The antenna device 400 includes a dielectric substrate 46 and a ground electrode 49 provided on one surface of the dielectric substrate 46. The antenna device 400 also includes a first antenna element 41 and a second antenna element 45 provided on the other surface of the dielectric substrate 46. The antenna device 400 further includes a first transmission line 42 and a second transmission line 44 for connecting the first antenna element 41 and the second antenna element 45. The first antenna element 41 and the second antenna element 45 have an identical resonance frequency and an identical Q value. Then, the length of the first transmission line 42+ the second transmission line 44 is determined to be 1/4 of a resonance wavelength. Thus, the antenna device is achieved which has the broader bandwidth, low profile, is made compact and is hardly affected by metal.
