PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition excellent in antistatic properties, flame retardancy, etc., by mixing a styrenic resin having specified properties with a vinyl chloride resin, an alkyl sulfonate type antistatic agent and an organotin stabilizer in a specified weight ratio.
CONSTITUTION: 30-80 pts.wt. styrenic resin (A) having a reduced viscosity of its methyl ethyl ketone solubles of 0.2-0.55dl/g as measured in an N,N- dimethylformamide solution in a concentration of 0.3g/dl at 30°C is mixed with 70-20 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin having an average degree of polymerization of 400-800. 100 pts.wt. obtained flame-retardant resin is mixed with 0.5-5 pts.wt. antistatic agent selected from between an alkyl sulfonate of formula I and an alkylbenzene sulfonate of formula II (wherein R1 and R2 are each 8-22 C alkyl; and M is an alkali metal) and 0.1-5 pts.wt. organotin stabilizer selected from among dimethyltin mercaptoglycolate, dibutyltin mercaptopropionate, etc., to produce the objective composition.
