Abstract:
To provide a novel appearance inspection device and a novel method for delivery which allow a user to visually confirm a belt-like body without entering a line, store positional information showing the position of the belt-like body in a longer direction in a taken dynamic picture image, and accurately and easily notify a delivery destination of information on a flaw.SOLUTION: The appearance inspection device is provided in a slitter line, and includes: imaging means 3 for imaging a flaw, a recess, or dirt in the front surface or in the back surface of a belt-like body 1 cut with a predetermined width; display means 4 for displaying a dynamic picture image taken by the imaging means 3 in real time; and dynamic picture image storage means for storing the dynamic picture image taken by the imaging means 3 according to an instruction from storage start instruction means 5 for a predetermined amount of time before and after the instruction. The dynamic picture image storage means is configured to store positional information showing the position of the belt-like body in the longer direction in the stored dynamic picture image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
