Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous primer coating composition which prevents decrease in water resistance while maintaining high adhesion and shows excellence in gasohol resistance and stability of pigment dispersion and to provide a coated item therewith.
SOLUTION: An aqueous primer coating composition contains an acid anhydride-modified chlorinated polyolefin emulsion resin (A), an aqueous alkyd resin (B) and an aqueous novolak epoxy resin (C), wherein the solid content in weight %, based on the total solid of the composition, of the components (A), (B) and (C) are each 20 to 60 wt.%, 10 to 60 wt.% and 10 to 60 wt.%, respectively. A coated item is obtained by coating an item with the aqueous coating composition.
