Abstract:
To provide an asphalt melter which can bring solid asphalt into a molten state usable in a hot asphalt waterproofing work within a short heating time.
The asphalt melter is provided with a melting kettle that melts the contained asphalt by heating it to a specified temperature by means of a heat source and an agitating apparatus that agitates the asphalt to accelerate its liquidation, the agitation apparatus being composed of a swing tool, a reciprocatingly turning means that enables the pendulum motion of the swing tool, and a rotary drive source therefor.
