PURPOSE: To provide an assembled mold for continuous casting which can change the thickness of a cast slab in the wide range, simplify the work, shorten the time and reduce a cost.

CONSTITUTION: In the assembled mold for continuous casting, fastening a mold supporting frame 1 for continuous casting and one pair of short wall side molds 2a, 2b arranged in the supporting frame with a fixed side long wall side mold 3 fixed to the mold supporting frame 1 to one side of the short wall side mold and a free side long wall side mold 4 being shiftable to one side of the short wall side mold, the free side long wall side mold 4 is fixed to the mold supporting frame 1 at the base end part and supported by cylinders 5 for shifting providing lock mechanism. Thus, the thickness of the cast slab can be set in a wide range, the work at the time of changing the thickness of the cast slab is simplified, the working efficiency is improved, the working time is shortened and the cost can be reduced.
