Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically carry out marking on the outer circumference of a metallic pipe of a relatively small diameter.
CONSTITUTION: A straight pipe member placed on a pipe-member setting support 3 that has been fitted to a frame 1 is dropped between a guide member 5 that has both a pipe guide surface and a vertical orbital surface and that is movable in the horizontal direction, and a holding member 6 that has been arranged in the position being opposite to the orbital surface of the guide member 5 so as to be vertically movable; and marking is carried out while the straight pipe member is rotatingly brought into contact with a marker 8 in such a condition that it has been held between the holding member 6 and the orbital surface, and the straight pipe member after marking is transported to a material receiver 14 through a discharge chute 12. Thus, plenty of various straight-pipe members can be marked in a short time, and marking can be carried out in a given position without dispersion in the marking position.
