Abstract:
To provide an automobile hose high in adhesion between a reinforced thread layer and a rubber layer without using a special adhesive, and excellent in sealability.SOLUTION: An automobile hose comprises an inside rubber layer 1, a reinforced tread layer 2, and an outside rubber layer 3. At least one of the inside rubber layer 1 and the outside rubber layer 3 laminated with the reinforced tread layer 2 comprises an ethylene-propylene-diene rubber composition in which for ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (A), peroxide crosslinking agent (B), maleic acid-modified polybutadiene (C), and epoxy resin (D) are contained in a specific ratio, and the molar ratio [(c)/(d)] of the number of maleic acid-modified groups (c) of the maleic acid-modified polybutadiene (C) to the number of epoxy groups (d) of the epoxy resin (D) is within a range of 7/200 to 7/10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
