Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable beads to be fed into a setting position of a tire molding drum with high accuracy even in a small-sized and light weight device.
CONSTITUTION: After beads 58a, 58b supported by piston rods 52a, 52b are carried while it is slightly held by movable members 42a, 42b, the piston rods 52a, 52b are put into the grasp members 40a, 40b so as to shift the beads 58a, 58b to the tire molding drum. At this time, since outer forces (frictional forces) affecting the beads 58a, 58b is radial direction forces, besides, since they are held from both sides by planar holding surfaces 41a, 41b, 43a, 43b by the end of their escape, bead positions can be regulated correctly.
