To provide a bias current temperature characteristic compensating circuit which maintains the temperature characteristic of the bias current of an emitter common transistor output circuit consisting of PNP and NPN transistors and does not have the loss of an output dynamic range and an electronic circuit containing it.
When current supplied from a constant current source is defined as I1, current difference between the base and emitter of transistors Q1 and Q2 is defined as Vbe1 and potential difference VB5 for bias is I1>I3, VB5=2×Vbe1-A×Vt. However, Vt is a thermal voltage (kT/q) and A is constant. In this case, the bias current of an emitter common transistor output circuit becomes Iid=K×I1×exp(A/2) and no longer depends on temperature. Also, there is no loss of an output dynamic range in 1st and 2nd bias output terminals 2 and 3.
