Abstract:
To provide a bookbinding device which is further compact.SOLUTION: A bookbinding device includes: a central table 186a on which a cover C is placed, and which rotates for performing positioning of a text and the cover; and a pair of press plates 186b which are arranged on both sides so as to sandwich the central table 186a, and which crimp the text and the cover C by fastening the text together with the cover C from the cover side and the back cover side, by moving in the direction of coming closer to each other after the cover C is positioned on the back of the text in a state in which the cover C is placed on the central table 186a. The pair of press plates 186b is positioned at a higher position than the central table 186a in the height direction so that the pair of press plates 186b can crimp the text and the cover C, by at least one of the central table 186a and the pair of press plates 186b relatively moves in the height direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
