Abstract:
To provide a chair enabling a user to insert a lower thigh part below a seat part and to be seated.SOLUTION: A chair 1 includes: a seat part 2 a user is seated on; leg parts 3 connected to the seat part 2; a support table 4 connected to the leg parts 3 and mounted on a floor surface F; and a backrest part 5 connected to the seat part 2. The seat part 2 is arranged so that height from the floor surface F to a seat surface 2a of the seat part 2 is lower than height from the user's sole to the under-knee part. The support table 4 is arranged so that a rear end of the support table 4 is positioned at the back of a rear end of the seat part 2, and the leg parts 3 and the support table 4 do not exist between the seat part 2 and the floor surface F below an end area 2b on a front side of the seat part 2 and below a lateral area 2c at the back of the end area 2b on the front side of the seat part 2, a space S where at least a part of the user's lower thigh part can be inserted is formed. The backrest part 5 is curved into an almost arc-shape so that it projects backward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
