Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal-fired power generation plant in which amount of trace substance contained in wastewater from desulfurizing equipment can be effectively suppressed.SOLUTION: A coal-fired power generation plant 1 is provided that comprises: a combustion boiler 40 for combusting coal; an electrostatic precipitator 90 which is arranged at a downstream side of the combustion boiler 40 and removes coal ash contained in exhaust gas generated upon combustion of coal in the combustion boiler 40; wet desulfurizing equipment 220 which is arranged at a downstream side of the electrostatic precipitator 90 and absorbs and separates, through wet lime-gypsum method, sulfur oxide contained in the exhaust gas generated upon combustion of coal in the combustion boiler; a measuring device 224 for measuring minute amount substance in the wastewater discharged from the wet desulfurizing equipment 220; and a control device 225 for controlling an output of the electrostatic precipitator 90 on the basis of a result attained by the measuring device 224.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
