Abstract:
To make it possible to mold a coil spring, of which a coil diameter and a pitch are stable, by even an unskilled person.SOLUTION: A coil spring molding method is provided in which a wire is spirally wound on a winding shaft in such a manner that the winding shaft is rotated while obliquely guiding the wire in an axial direction of the winding shaft by a guide body, and an inclination angle is adjusted, whereby a pitch of a coil spring wound on the winding shaft is so made as to be adjustable. A coil spring molding device comprises the guide body for guiding the wire onto an outer periphery of the winding shaft. The guide body includes an open hole in which the winding shaft can be inserted, and an angle adjustment tool which can be obliquely pressed onto the outer periphery of the winding shaft inserted in the open hole, and is moved in an axial direction of the winding shaft. The angle adjustment tool projects in a direction crossing the axial direction of the winding shaft, a projection length thereof being adjustable, and by such an adjustment, can adjust an inclination angle in respect to the winding shaft, thereby enabling adjustment of the pitch of the coil spring to the outer periphery of the winding shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
