Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent incomplete terminal locking, and to provide a combined type connector of high reliability and excellent productivity in the assembly process of the connector.
CONSTITUTION: Engaging parts 12 are provided on an outer wall 11 of one connector housing A, while a through hole 16 is provided on an outer wall 15 of the other connector housing B. An inserting pin 17 provided with an engaging claw 17a in the upper end part, is inserted into the through hole 16, while a locking part 18a of a terminal 18 stored in the connector housing B is engaged with a protruding part 17c for terminal locking provided on the inserting pin 17, to lock up the terminal 18. The engaging part 12 of one connector housing A and the engaging claw 17a of the inserting pin 17 are engaged with one another, to connect the pair of connector housings A and B together, into a combined form.
