Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device that prevents reduction in throughput by performing optimal retransmission processing when high-speed retransmission by a "less careful" scheme is performed in communication in which a selective ACK option is not effective.SOLUTION: A communication device communicates data with a reception device by transmitting and receiving segments that are generated by dividing the data by the transmission unit and include therein a sequence number representing transmission order. The communication device includes a determination unit that manages a sequence number included in each segment, stores a value calculated from a sequence number with the largest value among sequence numbers included in a plurality of segments transmitted toward the reception device until retransmission of segments is performed, and does not determine that reception confirmation signals including the same sequence number are a duplicate reception confirmation signal if a prescribed condition is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
