NEW MATERIAL:A complex of fibroblast cell growth factor(GOF) and glycosaminoglycan.
USE: A healing promoter of burn, wound and postoperative tissue and remedy for thrombosis and arterioscherosis by regeneration action of blood-vessel.
PREPARATION: For example, a plasmid containing DNA coding a human basic fibroblast cell growth factor (human bFGF) is digested with a restriction enzyme and bonded with a proper phage bector and then inserted into Escherichia coli bacterium to transform the bacterium and the bacterium is sown on a plate and plaque containing recombinant phage is picked up and a basic sequence of recombinant part is decided by dideoxynucleotide synthesis chain stopping method and a clone having human bFGFDNA is selected. Then the clone is cultured and a human bFGF mutein is collected and brought into contact with glycosaminoglycan (e.g., heparin) in an aqueous medium to provide the aimed complex.
