Abstract:
To provide a composite container which does not have an opening failure caused by delamination.
The composite container comprises an outer container made mainly of paper, an inner container made mainly of plastic, and a lid sealing the composite container. The outer container is made of a resin impregnated paper which is impregnated with an interlayer strength enhancing agent for paper. It is desirable that the interlayer strength enhancing agent be an isocyanate resin, such as xylilene diisocynate of trimethylol propane adduct, or isophorone diisocynate of trimethylol propane adduct, or a mixture of both.
