Abstract:
To provide a composition containing at least one of camostat mesylate and a cysteine protease inhibitor, and methods for preventing or treating beta coronavirus infection by administering the composition to a subject at a risk of beta coronavirus infection.SOLUTION: The composition is useful in preventing and/or treating beta coronavirus infection (e.g., SARS-CoV-2 infection). The composition of the disclosure may block the invasion of the virus into the cells of the subject but not limited to any theories.SELECTED DRAWING: None
