Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contaminated liquid treatment device which is used for removing a harmful compound from a contaminated liquid by utilizing a field being under supercritical conditions, formed by high-speed rotation of an agitator, and capable of being operated in a stable state and also compact as a whole. SOLUTION: This treatment device is provided with: an agitation chamber 21 having a substantially enclosed structure; an agitator consisting of a plurality of upright agitation cylinders 25 concentrically placed in the agitation chamber 21 so as to be apart from each other; a plurality of upright resistance cylinders 27 concentrically placed so as to be apart from each other and each opposite to the agitator; a drive means which is connected to the agitator and used for rotationally driving the agitator at a 10,000-18,000 rpm rotational speed; an introduction means for introducing a mixed solution which consists of a contaminated solution containing a harmful compound, and a reaction agent capable of being combined with a free radical released from the harmful compound, into the agitation chamber 21; and a discharge means for discharging the resulting treated mixed solution to the outside of the agitation chamber 21, wherein each of the resistance cylinders 27 is placed between the adjacent two, i.e., outer and inner agitation cylinders 25 so as to be apart from each of the adjacent two agitation cylinders 25.
