A hybrid control device 1 includes a shift position recognition part 21 and a warning control part 24. The warning control part 24 determines that a vehicle stops at an intersection on the basis of information obtained from a navigation control device 16. The shift position recognition part 21 recognizes a shift range on the basis of a signal from a shift inputting device 9. Furthermore, the warning control part 24 detects that the user of the vehicle depresses the gas pedal on the basis of a signal from an acceleration sensor 6. When the vehicle stops at the intersection, if the shift range is changed into the neutral range for some reason and furthermore the user depresses the gas pedal, the warning control part 24 makes a meter control device 14 and/or a navigation control device 16 output a visual and/or auditory warning.
