PURPOSE: To certainly rescue a person left on a basement by providing a registration permitting means of basement up hall call for permitting registration of only the up hall call of the basement under the condition that the call back to a floor above-ground is completed.

CONSTITUTION: When a fire occurs on the 1st basement, a fire signal 10 is inputted to an external signal input means 2 together with other external signals and transmitted to an elevator operation control means 7, in which the phenomenon that the fire occurs is recognized to transfer an elevator to fire control operation. A call erasing command is given to a call registering means 8 by the elevator operation control means 7, and in the call registering means 8, all existing registered calls are erased by the call erasing command, and no registered call is received. Then, a floor aboveground which is the escape floor of this building is read from a ROM memory 3 in which the data natural to the building is stored by an escape floor arrival confirming means 5, and a call back is given when the present cage position of the elevator is not on the escape floor.
