Abstract:

To provide a method and apparatus for carrying a sheet material that allows for stably carrying a sheet material while suppressing the interference between sheet materials.SOLUTION: A method for carrying a sheet material is for successively carrying a plurality of sheet materials W1, W2 oppositely arranged with predetermined spacing in a height direction. The carrying method includes a step ST1 that moves a plurality of sheet materials W1, W2 in a downward direction while supporting ends W1a, W1b, W2a, W2b of the plurality of sheet materials W1, W2, a step ST2 that allows a gas to flow between a first sheet material W1 lowest out of the plurality of sheet materials W1, W2 and a second sheet material W2 higher than the first sheet material W1 and located adjacent and makes the first sheet material W1 and the second sheet material W2 isolated mutually, and a step ST3 that abuts the first sheet material W1 against a conveyor 1 and carrying it with the first sheet material W1 and the second sheet material W2 maintained isolated mutually.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
