To sufficiently and efficiently cool necessary parts of a punch body by discharging the refrigerant from a refrigerant discharge passage after the refrigerant is passed through a refrigerant passage.

A die punch 1 consists of a punch body 2 and a punch retainer 3. A cooling space 2b is provided within a projecting part 2a of the punch body 2. The cooling space 2b is open upward, and communicated with refrigerant discharge passages 2c, 2d of the punch body 2 at the top, and the refrigerant discharge passages are opened at the side of the punch body 2. A refrigerant feed pipe 4 is arranged in an attachable/detachable manner in the cooling space 2b, and a refrigerant passage 5 is formed between the refrigerant feed pipe and the inner wall of the punch body 2. The end part of the refrigerant feed pipe 4 is connected to a refrigerant introducing passage 3a provided on the punch retainer 3, the refrigerant fed therefrom flows out from the refrigerant feed pipe 4 into the refrigerant passage 5, and discharged from refrigerant discharge passages 2c, 2b after passing through the refrigerant passage 5. The refrigerant passage can be easily formed depending on the shape and the part to be cooled of the die punch.
