To provide a cooling device capable of properly determining water supply abnormality in a water cooled condenser at low costs.
The cooling device 30 is equipped with the water cooled condenser CD cooled by cooling water supplied from a water supply means WS. Also, the cooling device 30 is equipped with a water supply valve WV provided in the water supply means WS and opening and closing a passage of the water supply means WS, a condenser thermistor TH1 provided in coolant piping 31 connected to an inlet side of the condenser CD, and a control means C for producing a reference temperature on the basis of condenser temperatures sequentially inputted from the condenser thermistor TH1. In the control means C, the condenser temperature and the reference temperature are compared, and it is determined that there is water supply abnormality of the cooling water when the condenser temperature does not become lower than the reference temperature even when a set time has passed from the time of opening control of the water supply valve WV.
