Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a clean image even when non-emission is generated in the black nozzle of a multinozzle head.
CONSTITUTION: A copier has a recording device having multinozzle heads for each color component, namely, a cyan head 8, a magenta head 9, an yellow head 9 and a black head 11. This copier is equipped with a memory device 13 storing the number of a non-emitting nozzle when there is the non-emitting nozzle in the head of black ink among the multinozzle heads and a recording control unit 7 performing emission by the respective nozzles of the same number of cyan, magenta and yellow ink heads when an emission signal is applied to the non-emitting nozzle.
