Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cover feeder for provision of a book jacket by which the book jacket can be economically processed.SOLUTION: A second storage device 18 is located, the second storage device 18 comprises a second separation unit 24 for guiding a book jacket 5', which is taken out from a stack 15' of the book jackets 5' loaded on the second storage device 18 to a first storage device 14, and a cover feeder 9 comprises a control unit. Information concerning a format and an order of a book jacket 5' in the stack 15' of the book jackets 5' can be transmitted to the control unit, and a centering device 20 is connected to a control part of the cover feeder 9 and is so formed as to be laterally adjusted according to information concerning the format and the order of the book jacket 5' in the stack 15' of the book jackets 5'.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
