Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain deodorizing coating material removing smells of substances stored in refrigerators, comprising powder of natural-occurring ore containing carbon, iron oxide, etc.

CONSTITUTION: The objective coating material comprising powder of natural- occurring ore containing ≥4wt.% carbon, ≥3wt.% ferrous or ferric oxide or ferrous or ferric iron salt and optionally ≥1wt.% calcium oxide or calcium salt, having preferably about 0.5-3μm particle diameter. Ore produced in MARU mine at NIIMI district in OKAYAMA Prefecture, ore produced in Mt. ROKKO in HYOGO Prefecture, SENMAIIWA produced in YAMANASHI Prefecture or HYOKANSEKI produced in IBARAKI Prefecture may be cited as the naturally-occurring ore.
