Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain the simple and sufficient supply of a developer by providing a developer guiding member disposed in a position in the vicinity of the upstream side of a regulating member, guiding a nonmagnetic one-component developer to the regulating member and increasing the pressure of the developer upon a developer carrier.
CONSTITUTION: A developing roller 2 is rotated counterclockwise and toner 6 in a developing tank 5 in the vicinity of the developing roller 2 is stuck thereon and carried. The toner 6 carried to the vicinity of the developer guiding member 3 is regulated to obtain a layer thickness set by the gap between the developing roller 2 and the guiding member 3 and pressed on the developing roller 2 by the guiding member 3, to be more strongly stuck to the developing roller 2. After that, the toner 6 carried up to a blade 4a by the rotation of the roller 2 is charged by friction with the blade 4a or the injection of a charge and turned into a thin layer by the blade 4a. Therefore, the thin layer of the toner 6 is formed on the roller 2 and carried to a developing region.
