PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device continually delivering weft yarn, which feeds a weft yarn from a manufacturing apparatus directly to a weaving machine.
SOLUTION: This apparatus for delivering a weft yarn 3 continuously to a weaving machine comprises a weft yarn storing mechanism 1 and a weft yarn delivering mechanism 4. (1) The weft yarn delivering mechanism 4 can select, automatically or manually, a retreating track B on which the weft yarn 3 comes off the main track A lead to the weaving machine and can be recovered, and a recovery roller 9 for pulling out the weft yarn 3 is placed on the terminal end of the retreating track B. (2) The weft yarn storing mechanism 1 is provided with upper sensor 14 corresponding the upper limit and a lower sensor 15 corresponding the lower limit of the storing amount against the weft yarn 3 stored in a loosen state. When the upper sensor 14 detects the weft yarn 3, it increases the delivering speed of the manufacturing apparatus 2 or decreases the weaving speed of the weaving machine. When the lower sensor 15 detects a weft yarn 3, it decreases the delivering speed of the manufacturing apparatus 2 or increases the weaving speed of the weaving machine.
