To provide a computer for creating machining information, a method and a program, capable of creating a series of machining information about profiling and precision machining for a three-dimensional component.
A desired shape is designed using a three-dimensional CAD (S01). A portion to be machined and manufactured locally is designated (S02). A machining range is set in the designated portion (S03). Local machining and manufacturing information is added to the machining range (S04). The shape of a local portion before machining is edited (S05). Three-dimensional shape overall manufacture information is added (S06). Manufacture information is taken out into a three-dimensional CAM (S07). The computation of the machining program is started (S08). The whole including the shape edited in S05 is set as the range of application of the computation (S09). A computation is performed based on the information in S06 (S10). The machining program obtained is output (S11). The range in S03 is set as the range of application of the computation (S12). A computation is performed based on the information in S04 (S13). The machining program obtained is output (S14). The two machining programs are rearranged (S15). The two machining programs rearranged are coupled together (S16). The machining programs coupled together are output from the CAM to an automatic machine tool (S17).
