Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate false detection and to raise reliability of detection in discovering damages, stains and other injuries of sheets during transportation of the sheets.
CONSTITUTION: A device detects damages, stains and other injuries of sheets by monitoring while spreading and transporting a sheet S. A recognition plate 11 which has a color in light and darkness correlation for making the sheet S prominent on the surface and is longer than the width of the sheet S is laid between the sheet S and a transporting means 12 for conveying the sheet and a guide pawl 13 for introducing the sheet S sent by the transporting means 12 to the recognition plate 11 is attached to the front edge of the recognition plate 11.
