Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glazing device capable of uniformly heating the ends of glass tubes, simple in maintenance, and giving the glazed glass tubes of high quality, and to provide a burner.
SOLUTION: This glazing burner 1 can be rotated on the center of a flame hole-forming surface 4, and flame holes are formed in a dotted line-like form. The device for glazing the ends of glass tubes is formed so that the plural glass tubes 2 are held and fixed in parallel to each other at prescribed spaces in the axial direction, intermittently moved at a prescribed distance, while holding the mutual distances of the glass tubes, and directing the glazing burners to the end surfaces of the glass tubes to heat the end surfaces on stoppage.
