Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain active vibrational control, without supplying energy from the outside part arranging each DC motor at an upper spring and a lower spring, adding vibration to the lower spring as disturbance, and operating the vibration proof the upper spring mass.
SOLUTION: A DC motor at a lower spring functions as a generator (energy regenerative damper) for generating electrical energy by using vibrational energy, and a DC motor at an upper spring functions as a servo motor (actuator) for operating active vibration control. The vibration energy regenerated by the energy regenerative damper is stored as electrical energy, and the actuator operates active control by using the voltage of a capacitor. Then, when the vibration energy is small, and a generated voltage is made lower than the voltage of the capacitor, currents are allowed to counter flow. At this time, the capacitor is separated from the electric circuit, and only a resistance is connected with the DC motor, so that the energy generative damper can function as a normal damper, and when the vibration energy is not stored, vibration proof is operated by the energy generative damper as a normal damper.
