Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for producing inactive carbon aiming at confining a gas emitted from an organic matter to be decomposed as heating in a vacuum with no oxygen proceeds, by separating the gas from the matter to be decomposed and then guiding the gas to a space which suppresses back flow and returning, then further sucking the gas by an outside component.SOLUTION: The first invention is a device for producing inactive carbon configured so that: a quartz tube containing a decomposition object is made into a vacuum and oxygen-free state; then the decomposition object is heated; a gas containing oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen and emitted as heating proceeds, is made to pass a quartz plate wall having a guide hole and having a diameter of almost 25 mm, disposed on inside of the quartz tube; then the gas is temporarily confined in a space formed by a certain distance between the quartz plate wall and a terminal of the quartz tube and for suppressing back flow; then, the confined gas is sucked by an external suction tank. The second invention is a method for producing the inactive carbon while avoiding combustion or chemical reaction of the decomposition object, which inhibits generation of the inactive carbon from the gas, by performing 3 processes and 5 steps.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
