The display screen turning device 20 comprises: a turning plate 31 turnable in a horizontal plane, to which a display body 10 is attached; a pedestal 34 having an erect part 45a that turnably holds the turning plate 31 and has a hole 34c; a float prevention member 35 attached to the erect part 34a of the pedestal so as to prevent the turning plate 31 from floating upward; and a stopper member 36 having a tapered end face 36a, which is inserted to the hole 34c of the erect part 34a of the pedestal 34 and presses the float prevention member 35 to keep the float prevention member 35 in contact with the turning plate 31.
