Abstract:

To realize the electron emission characteristic of high efficiency by fixing a carbon nanotube on a cathode wiring with low resistance to obtain the sufficient electron emission performance, in a state of hardly separating, so as to secure exposure inside vacuum.

An end part or a part of the intermediate part of the carbon nanotube 13 is embedded in the cathode wiring 12 formed on a back substrate 11, and the contact of the intersecting part of the carbon nanotubes or the vicinity of the intersection part is joined by a joint film.
