To provide a double-side printing machine which enables electric power saving.
A double-side printing machine 1 has a first printing part 4 and a second printing part 9 both of which print images to printing paper PA, a reversing section 7 installed between the first printing part and the second printing part which turns over the printing paper PA printed by the first printing part, a power supply section 13 which applies power to the printing parts 4, 9 and the reversing section, a timer 14 which meters a stand-by time T during which the printing is not performed by the printing parts 4, 9, and a control section 12 which controls each of the parts 4, 9 and the sections 7, 13 and is inputted with the stand-by time T. The control section has a normal mode which applies an electric power of 24 V to the reversing section when the stand-by time does not exceed the first threshold time Th1, a low power mode which applies the power of a voltage of 5 V to the reversing section when the stand-by time exceeds a first threshold time, and a sleep mode which reduces electric power supply to the reversing section smaller than that of a low power mode when the stand-by time exceeds the second threshold time Th2.
