To provide a double-sided stencil printer by which printing desired by a user can be performed without performing cumbersome setting operation every time printing is performed.
The double-sided stencil printer has a first printing section 4 for printing one face of a printing sheet W, a reversing section 10 for reversing the printing sheet W the one face of which is printed by the first printing section 4, a second printing section 5 for printing the other face of the printing sheet W reversed by the reversing section 10, an image reading section 2 for reading an image from a copy, a plate making section 6 generating at least one of stencil base paper for printing by the first printing section 4 or the second printing section 5 based on the image read by the image reading section 2, and an image allocating section 20c by making the image read earlier by the image reading section 2 as the image of the stencil base paper wound around the second printing section 5 and by making the image read later as the image of the stencil base paper wound around the first printing section 4 when both-sided printing is set by a one-side or both-side setting section 20a.
